that was amazing, if that book was published I would so definately buy it. Though as usual, even with several published books I’ve read there was some things that could have been improved, well two that in particular stand out to me. One is the lack of detail describing the setting, while I was reading it I was having a hard time trying to imagine the town and surrounding area and everything. Second was tha fact that although there was all this bad history with her predessesors, her father and such, her brother was still able to keep in reliable and trustworthy contact with the king and no one in the town seemed to have real issues with the fact that the two of them were his kids. Maybe you’ll introduce later that the prince was keeping an eye on them but for the moment there’s no sense of distrust for the two of them from anybody. Afraid that they might have magic like there father or just decide to take out their resentments on the two of them. Just a thought. And if that’s not the case you might want to mention how lucky she felt all the time that the people around them didn’t seem to bear a grudge against them and such. All in all a great story and I really hope you can get it published one day I definately plan on buying it. Amazing

I LOVED IT!!! I am sure you already know this, but you are very very talented. This is original. One thing I hate is reading an excerpt when you can tell it was based off of something else like Twilight(seems to have become popular), Lord of the Rings, etc. However, this is all your own. I love it, and I hope it gets published because I can’t wait to read the rest!!

I love the story about Keeri. I can’t wait to read more. By the way does Arnic like Keeri. ^ ^
I was wondering how did you come up with their names.

I just finished the first chapter, and it’s not bad. You have a good story, good characters (love the names, by the way), and interesting ideas. Your writing sounds a bit like mine (in my novel, Dragon’s Queen) before I went back and revised it. I think what you really need to pull people in is more detail. I’ve been learning a lot about that in my Applications of Grammar book, and it’s taught me to paint clear pictures with detail. A writer who does that really well is Brian Jacques. I read his Redwall books, and after that, I saw what was really the matter with my writing.
Anyway, keep up the good work, remember that revising is always a good way to go (even if you don’t think you need it), and I’ll be looking for your book on the shelves of my local bookstores as soon as it comes out. Good luck!
